| Kid didn't
want to move. If he moved, he was going to die. Maybe if they cut his head
off, he'd survive. He remembered Cody showing up at the bar and remembered they'd all started drinking Tequila. Everything after that was blank. He wasn't even sure how he got home! Jimmy woke up wrapped around the toilet. He was cold and stiff from sleeping on the bathroom floor, but he didn't feel like death. In fact, he thought he might survive. He wasn't sure how he got where he was, but he just might make it. He decided he'd take a chance, get up, and see how Kid was fairing. Cody heard a loud groan coming from the bathroom and realized wherever he was, he wasn't alone. He knew he hadn't gone home with a woman. If that had happened, he wouldn't be alone on a couch. There were footsteps coming down the hall. If he turned his head just so, he might just get a clue as to where he was. It was worth a shot...or so he thought. He turned his head and thought he was going to die. If he never drank again, it would be too soon.

M I read these couple of paragraphs and just rolled at the images they brought to my mind.. |

| "Julia
this floor is dirty. I just cleaned it!" "Jimmy frowned. "I will redo it," Julia offered. "NO! I do everything around here!" Jimmy tried to get up. He felt sharp pains racing down his belly. "OH!" Julia grabbed her husband and laid him down on the bed. |

| "Don't
you believe it Kid. He meant it alright," Cody said through gritted
teeth. "Little so-and-so has a lesson comin'." Cody balled his
hands into fists and would have launched an all out attack, but Kid and
Lou held him back. "Let me go! Let me go I tell you!"
"Cody, look at him. He's starvin'. I bet he ain't nothin' but skin and bone under that long coat," Kid pointed out. "Starvin' nothin'! He's laughin' at me!" Cody tried to claw his way free of his friends. Lou did look. Sure enough, there was definitely
the hint of a grin there. At least, the way he had the right side of his
top lip curled, it did look like he was smirking at Cody. Lou wondered
if this young gentleman really had a clue as to how dangerous this game
was. Cody's pride had taken a beating and he wasn't going to leave until
he got satisfaction. |
Tyra Just read it, it's hilarious on so many levels. |

| Buck
flipped over in his sleep and his sheet fell off. He was just lying there,
everything in the breeze, and I was absolutely certain that Lou was looking
at him. I mean really looking at him hard. Can't tell you how shocked I
was, 'cos we guys don't do that.
It was the creepiest, weirdest
experience of my life. I could feel Lou looking at me. I could actually
feel his eyes I think Lou was too preoccupied with fighting the currents and keeping me from drowning to notice that I'd had my hand on her breast. Now it all makes sense. I knew I couldn't be attracted to another man. Not me. Lou's pretty darn cute too with her hair all wet and eyes bright with concern as she's pulling me to shore. Damn, what am I saying? Her eyes are gorgeous. The next few days are going to get interesting. I'm going to watch Lou real close from now on. The next time she gets the urge to go for another midnight walk around the bunkhouse, I'll be waiting, 'cos like I keep telling you - I love women.

M This was a hilarious story! Poor Jimmy...I really felt his confusion about why he was finding "Lou" so attractive and wondering if there was something wrong with him! |

Laronda <giggles!> I love this story. If I am in a bad mood I read it. I just imagine the boys swimming naked and getting caughted by Lou and Rachel. One word "Oh my." |

"Just go ahead and do it." Louise steeled herself, waiting for the pain. Buck chuckled deep in his throat and cuffed her on the shoulder. "Tense up like that and it will hurt even more." Her shoulders sagged as she admitted, "I'm just not one for the sight of blood." Jimmy set down the coffee pot and tossed the hand towel to the side. "You're not gonna faint on us, are you?" Louise rolled her eyes in the mirror. "Not likely, Jimmy." He hissed as the coffee burned his tongue. "Good, 'cause I'm not picking you up off the floor if you do." "OW!" Louise glared at Buck. "What did you do?" Buck held up the needle in his hand. "One side done." "What?" Louise leaned closer to the mirror and watched as the sunlight from the window sparked within the crystaline gem dangling from her ear. "You did it!" Nodding with satisfaction at the other riders, Buck cleaned off the needle. "Ready for the other side?" Fingering the bauble, Louise felt a smile tug at her lips. "You were right. It didn't hurt that much." With an indulgent smile, Buck leaned closer to Louise, the heavy needle poised and ready. "I only speak the truth." Cody guffawed around his sandwich, "Yeah, listen to the wise old Injun!" Jimmy set his coffee cup down on the table. "I swear you two are worse than my sisters! Just get it over with and we'll get on with our lives." Buck raised an eyebrow as his gaze met Louise's in the mirror. Wiping at his mouth with a napkin, Cody swallowed an over-sized bit. "Leave 'em alone, Jimmy. A girl's got a right to look her best." Cody leaned his elbows on the table. "Just look at her, our little bro- I mean sister, all grown up and courtin' royalty!" The look on Louise's face seemed to indicate that Cody was lucky she couldn't reach her gun. Jimmy stepped closer. "I don't see what the big problem is. Make a hole, put in the metal thing... and you're done!" He leaned in for a close look as Buck pierced Louise's left ear with the needle. No one seemed to notice the change in Jimmy's skin. It went from his usual light tan to peach... then white... and finally to a sickly green. "What is... that's just... wrong." Jimmy's eyes seemed to roll back up into his head and before Louise could even try to steady him, Jimmy collapsed on the floor in an undignified heap. Cody's chair hit the floor as he leaned over the table for a closer look. "Did he just faint?" |
Lolli This story had me laughing from beginnng to end. I could picture the riders actually going through all this in an episode and just laughed myself silly! |

Wendy M This was just a cute little story...I could just see the abject horror on Cody's face as the hen attacked him, and the other riders laughing at his antics. |
