Joey is one of those characters that caught
my attention from the very beginning. His first appearance was in Kirsten's
story Twice Paired - but he was only in the first couple paragraphs! I
was so happy when Kirsten brought him back as the main original character
for this story. She managed to capture his personality exactly as I imagined
it would be. He's an original character, but Kirsten has managed to make
him a part of the canon of Lou's past as far as I am concerned.

He was real, so real that you actually
felt him move over the pages. Saw him sink into deep despair and battle
with himself to then at last, do what so many wished they'd have the guts
to do. An anti-hero of the kind we need.
