This is a really fun story, yet it is short.
Enjoy the read!

I loved this little story.
It was beautifully crafted and the spin on the insight
into their friendship gave it extra weight.

The mellow tone of the story,
together with the vivid desriptions of the passing day makes the sorrow
that lays beneath the words so much more pungent.
There's no big gestures,
no grand maneurism - just a overwhelming sadness and the knowlegde you
have to sustain it all the same.
Made me cry.

Charla has a gift with writing the characters
just as they are....I could imagine their faces, the way that each character...and
how they reacted to hearing Ike speak for the first time...And how amazed
and surprised Ike was at his ability to do so after so much time of not
having a voice...
