Tyr shortstories

This award is for the best short story. A short story is a story with just one chapter, yeah yeah... I know you didn't need to get that explained. The story must be completed, unfinished stories will be rewarded next year!

Ty Same Predator, Different Prey at Writers Ranch	Amara It is original in concept and brilliantly pulled off. I believe Ty did a wonderful job. The humor and sexual tension were there without it being overtly adult thus bringing it into a range appreciated by a broad age group.
Mnemosyne Odysseus at Writers Ranch	.*bright Lou can't help but love the characteristics of the man she married, those same traits that might ultimately hurt her. Lovely little story of love's intrinsic perils.
Kemara and Karen Northern Lights at Writers Ranch	.*bright I love the story because it brings forth the common ground for all humanity, despite difference in cultures. Every culture has its own "Creation myth" and the fact that Buck is lost between the two cultures comes through brilliantly in this fic.
Lori Wolves at Writers Ranch	Dee You can just feel the angst Buck is going through, with the imagery of the cold, dreary winter landscape and the wolf howling in the distance...beautifully written.
Debbie The Naked Truth at Ponnyexpressen	Karen Great little story about when the others find out how Kid discovered Lou's secret. The last line is great! Laronda I always wanted to know what the boys thought after finding out Lou was a girl. Great job capturing what each boy felt.
Laronda All Grown Up Now at Ponnyexpressen	Candae I love the way Laronda writes all her stories. With heart and soul. Lou's fear is heart breaken. And the boys' care and support are wondeful.
Dede There Are Worse Things at Writers Ranch	Tracy Noah didn’t need to see her face to understand the desperation in her dance because he felt it in his whole body. He stared as she put everything into her movements, reaching out to the audience in supplication. For the first time in what felt like a lifetime, that feeling of desolation diminished. He was watching a kindred spirit. It was like she was dancing for him, and he didn’t want her to stop. This has always been my favourite of Dee's stories. There is such heart in this that it breaks mine every time I read it. A beautful story.
Melinde Silver Comb at Writers Ranch	Wendy M I really enjoyed this short story and the love that evolved between Maria and Buck.
Debbie, Dee, Donna Ree, Erin, Jessica, Karen, Liz, Mary A, Melinde, Raye, Sameena, Tracy, Vicki Haunting Winds at Writers Ranch	Wendy M This was just an eerie little story that sent shivers down my spine as I read it.
Debbie The Pull at Ponnyexpressen	Nesciri A story which in an excellent way portrays Kid's emotions as he makes the decision of a lifetime. The story got to me and I'm not even a Kid-fan!
Laronda The Devil Whisper at Ponnyexpressen	Wendy M He screamed for anyone inside to answer his cries. No one came. The wind blew harder and rain begin to fall. He remembered she was here. He ran behind the church and down the rolls of graves. He found her's and he got on his knees and ran his fingers in the groves of her name. "Emma." he whispered. The next morning they discovered him laying next to her grave. He was buried next to her. Such a beautifully sad story...could just imagine the anguish that Sam was going through at losing his Emma...
