This is a plea for writers to find the inspiration to end their stories so we can nominate them for next year's awards! This plea goes out to the writers out there that have for some reason not finished their stories. This is our way of letting you know we are still waiting and very interested indeed!

This is a great new story in progress. I usually try not to read in progress stories because I dont have much patience, I'm too eager to read the ending! but this one has really captured my interest. it's a great Buck fic with a SUPERB cast of original Characters!

Excerpt:
"There's a bit more," Bridget said. "If it's worn on the right hand, with the crown facing in toward the hand, it means the wearer's heart is not yet taken. On the right hand, with the crown facing out, shows a commitment to someone." She took the ring back as she finished. "Worn on the left hand, with the crown out, says that person's heart is forever bound in love to someone else's." She slowly replaced the ring on her finger.

Buck watched as she slipped the ring onto her right hand with the crown facing in. "So no one's captured your heart?" he asked softly.

"Not yet," she replied. But as she looked at him, she could almost swear she felt her heart leap. There was no doubt it was beating faster. She hesitated, then asked, "And you?"

He smiled and shook his head. "Not yet."

I've read this story several times and keep hoping that magically there will be more chapters posted of it. Becca does such a great job delving into the pasts of both Kid and Lou and she created a great character in the form of Kid's father. I'd love to read what happens next.
