riders are transported to modern day 'wakin' up at the studios where
TYR was filmed. They struggle to fit in with Real Life... learn how
to get along in a modern culture. It's wonderful to see how they all
find happiness... with a few WONDERFUL surprizes thrown in. Read this
story... you'll thank Charla when you're done!

This story is amazing. The way Charla brought
the TYR characters into the real world was perfect and imaginative.
I think the plus (for us Kid and Lou fans anyway) is that she kept the
two together. A great heart warming scene was when Buck got to meet
TAWPI (the actor who played Ike)! I also loved when the characters,
for the first time, discovered where they were, and the different things
of the area they were in. IT WAS GREAT!!! A must read! I give it five
stars, two thumbs up, and 50 lashes with a wet noodle!!!

This was an amazing story!!! I would never, ever
have thought to put the riders in a scenario like this. I was enthralled
with the descriptions of the riders adjusting to modern life, things
like computers and television and Burger King. Everything was written
so well. It was very creative and original. And the ending was beautiful!

After finishing the first half of this story,
I begged Charla to finish it because I already knew I had to nominate
it. It is creative, the Coke bottle straight out of "The Gods Must
be Crazy", funny; Cody becoming a Baldwin, touching, romantic,
artfully written... I could go on and on. She managed to bring these
characters into the present time and still maintain the essence of who
they were, the characteristics that make us love them.

Charla provides wonderful, engaging answers to
the question of what might happen if some of our favorite boys and girl
were alive and well today. She did a brilliant job of blending the elements
from their world and ours. "A Ride Into Reality" is touching,
funny and an all-round great story!
