Björn Buss

As violin player, I have been employed by the Radio Symphony Orchestra of Finland, the National Opera Orchestra of Finland, the Lahti Philharmonics and the Vaasa Philharmonics of Finland, the last from which I have recently retired on pension.

As conductor, I have been working with the Vaasa Philharmonics, the Vaasan Orkesteriyhdistys, the Vaasa Big Band, the Björn Buss Big Band and the mixed choir Brage Sångkör of Vaasa.

As trumpet player, I have been playing with small jazz groups of my own, as for the moment the Björn Buss Quintet. I have also had the honor of playing with the Jacob Bigband and the OBO-Bigband.
