It has been a while since I last wrote an entry to my blog.. but what the hell it has been spring, summer and autumn between :D
Now it's almost winter (again). Night time the temperature outside is going down to almost zero, and any day now we will have icy roads :]

We have had -20 degrees celsius or even colder for almost two weeks. That's why I would like to say that it's almost summer now as we only have -7 degrees today!
It was really fun to go for a walk with the dog when triple layers of clothing was not required.

Hopefully it's the same temperature tomorrow, as I would like to ski...

Amazing! It's only -8 degrees (celsius) outside! As we have had down to almost -30 this feels like summer. Maybe it's possible to go x-country skiing tomorrow :)

I formatted my hdd and installed Ubuntu 10.10 a couple of days ago, and it's smokin'.
I can browse the web, pay the bills and play games made for windows.. What more can I demand?!
The linux distributions nowadays are really a good option, some years back I had a server running mandrake, and yes that was good for a server sharing the internet connection between the computers at home, but it was not that userfriendly.
Now with this Ubuntu 10.10 user friendliness has been taken into a whole new level. This is more user friendly than Windows XP/Vista/7...

I'm really impressed by the Ubuntu software center, it's very convenient to search for and install new programs via this software center. + + +

I also installed apache, thus having the possibility to play around with some PHP coding.. maybe making version 2 of the lyrics webpage? :)

Oh well, now when the rainy autumn is here it's time that I start siting at the computer :]
There is still the issue that my computer is old'n'crappy.. :x

I only need a new gaming laptop.. then I might start playin' some computah gamez. Yeahz.
The problem is that there is so f*ckin' much different hardware to choose from.
Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and so on.. and furthermore there a dozen of different gfx-cards. Intel GT320, 330, Ati HD5650, 5850...
What to choose?!

No, I'm not an addict but still a weekend without Internet sucked...
Our ISP seemed to have some kind of problem as the dynamic IP was less dynamic and gave no IP at all :P
Luckily everything works today :)

On Friday we had a summer day with activities like Zumba, Golf putting, Fitness boxing etc. It was most excellent!

Now the question is: where the hell is the summer weather? Once again it's raining cats and dogs. And most probably some mice too...

How can this be?! The weather forecast predicted rainy weather, but the sun has been shining the whole day, and the temperature is hiiiigh... It's almost impossible to sit on our balcony as it's fucking 35 degrees.

Nice with summer weather in spring time.

Today I got myself a new hair cut. Now I'm prepared for the summer ;)
In order to celebrate this I will go out and run with the dog. The usual lap will do it for today :]
