Long-term bric-a-brac
I'm in Vasa for the moment. Just me and the old cat home. She's thirteen, soon. I saw Red Carpet, Ultrasport and Viola at Club 25 last night. I'd be very happy if I knew they had grand ambitions and that they're not content with playing the same Finnish rock clubs over and over. Because that IS waste of talent. I mean, each of the bands obviously has songwriting skills in abundance. And not only that; all of them were, how should I put it, masters of their instruments. How much do they practise, for christ's sake?

Okay, now I was interrupted by some "påskhäxor" (Easter witches?), for which I was totally unprepared. They uttered a largely unintelligible curse, which ended with "palkka mulle". One of them feasted on some candy while she spoke, and she looked like she wanted more, so I got the message. Didn't have any, so I gave them 2 €. I'm not opening the door again.

And that's not her. She's much bigger. That's a Damascene cat, footloose and fancy-free!
