Ah, these are fine days and I miss them already. As we live on the fringes of human settlement on Earth, on the rough outskirts of the last of the decent climate zones, we are absolutely thrilled when we get this kind of weather in May. It's all too good and I reckon we will have to pay for it somehow. I reckon this weather is of biblical character; and I don't mean it's going to rain or hail next week, because that is what one must assume when living beneath the Stella Polaris. No, my gut feeling tells me that it will be something far worse, affecting me and my summer personally. I see the possibility of a World Cup terrorist tragedy, a Morrissey cancellation, a Cats on fire quagmire, a massive, massive oil slick in our river, food-poisoning and hospital visits, strange viruses and infections, ailing relatives and of course the classic, bible-styled vermin invasions. Better hurry up and do something worthwhile while I still got time. Behold, there's already dark on the horizon. Grant McLennan has allegedly passed away. The divine retaliation against the lazy sunbathing indie kids is severe.
