Hitler in my art
Everybody likes the British version of “the Office”. But there's a widespread myth that the American version is watered down and pale compared to its British original. This is simply not true, and Philip (normally on http://mittlivsomblog.blogspot.com/) has already talked about this. The American Office is every bit as brilliant. Yes, it is somewhat “broader”, easier to watch, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I am touched in a more profound way by the Office than by any recent drama, both IRL and on television.

Tina and I had a vocalist-to-vocalist conversation today. I said something stupid about power relations within the group. She replied “Oh, is that a Hitler on your wall?”. I think she referred to this: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/5383512.stm
