Ville corrected me, Pär spells his name with an ä. Sorry.
Moreover, I remembered what I was going to write about. Yesterday, me, DG and Kenneth went to this awful fast-food chain during the hockey game. I stood first in the queu in the second lane. Behind me was DG, this other guy and two children. When lane 1 became available, the unknown guy showed some courtesy and said, with a loud, commanding voice: “Menkää vaan, tytöt“ (Go right ahead, girls!) and waved towards lane 1. The second after he realized that one of the children was a boy and added “Tai, tuo olihan poika“ (Or, that was a boy). The situation amused both the unknown guy, DG, the accountant and me. When the situation should have calmed down, I broke out in a slightly hysterical laughter in front of the accountant, which seemed to amuse her too. “Eihän tuo ollut niin hauska“ (It wasn't that funny), the guy said and I replied “No ei ollutkaan“ (No, it wasn't), but it was! I couldn't stop thinking about it and I must have appeared strange walking away with my tray, laughing. Last night, I actually laughed myself to sleep. I think it was his voice that was funny. “Menkää vaan, tytöt“, haha.
Funny thing is, right outside Caribia and the fast-food restaurant, there's an ATM. This winter, when I was lifting money, the dad behind me told his daughter to “let the girl lift her money in peace“. He talked with a silly accent. I was wearing a hooded coat and of course I didn't mind, but still... his accent was silly.
