I've been to a lunch café called Fromina in Rewell center here in Vasa two days in a row now. The first day was a mere accident, as they served broccoli steak at Posten and had run out of vegetarian stuff at Rolls. Nicke and I then went to this tiny place called Fromina. The place is so far from a modern lunch cafe you can possibly get. It looks very Finnish, like a small cottage in the middle of this modern, kind of boring shopping centre. Or actually, it's not a cottage, because it doensn't smell or look rural. It just feels very old, but it's not made in a oldish or, god forbid, retro style. It just makes me happy.
Anyway, somehow Erika and I ended up there today, too. It wasn't a coincidence, and I don't want to sound cheesy or shallow, but I was actually very prone to go there because one of the persons who worked there. Nicke thought she looked dangerous and moody, but she didn't! Well, I'll stop there. And I'm forced to go somewhere else tomorrow, because you don't survive on toasted bread and green salad all day. But Fromina is my place.
