End of the Season
Time to sum it up. Not the whole summer, mind you, but one certain aspect of it. See, I've been working and it's been quite alright. Most of all I've liked the people I've been working with. It seems they all had this certain of quality that I've not appreciated in this way before. They've been very sociable, smart, polite and aware. Strange is, it would be easy to slag them off just because of this. I could be sitting in the corner, just as I did when I was at IFS. I could frown at the way they spoke so kindly about boring things with each other. I could secretly laugh at their clothing and language. That would be me. But in that sense something went differently this time around. Before, I've felt that I have to guard my values, my style and my persona by building this wall around me. Not selling out. And mind you, I would never sell out. But this time, I sort of happened to slide in on a different path and I must say, rather smugly, that I'm quite satisfied. I think I've been more than sociable enough. I think I've been polite. I think I've made a few friends. I think I've learned quite a few things. I think I've been true to myself and I think I've made my point clear when necessary. And I am terribly self-righteous, but I feel I have to grab on to something, so this is what I do. Hope it works.

But now for the summing up part. A lot of the work has been incredibly tedious. I've listened to some music, which has admittedly helped me. As a kind gesture to the songwriters, I am going to name the songs, in alphabetic order. And I'm going to exclude the ones I included on the previous list back in May.
