Here's two corrections and one additional detail regarding the Kåren gig the 17th of September.

– Everybody is allowed in, not just ÅA students.
– We will be the only band.
– The gig will start at 21:30, so don't be late!

So, everybody is more than welcome!

Det är onsdagen den 17 september som gäller, och med oss spelar The Casbah. De är unga och friska killar från Vasa, och vi oroar oss för att de kommer att stjäla showen med sina briljant insmickrande melodier... Djävulska. Host, jag börjar bli för gammal.

In English: We will play with the Casbah at Gulisakademin, an event for new students at Åbo Akademi University. It takes place at the Students' union on the 17th of September, and is, as far as I know, open to students at ÅAU only.

Cats on fire has signed a recording deal with the Finnish record company Johanna Kustannus (http://www.johannakustannus.fi/). We will start recording our second album in August, with a release date in the first quarter of 2009. We are proud to be on this independent Finnish label, who has long been on the forefront of Finnish popular music. They have recently signed both Regina and Kiki Pau.
