The Church in Pello, Finnish Lapland
The old chapel in Pello in the western part of the Finnish Lapland was destroyen in 1944 during the Lapland war.
The Lutherian Churches in the USA contributed greatly to the funds needed to build a new church. The new church has served the people of Pello since 1953.
