The Nordic Soroptimist Meeting in Vaasa in June 2006

The Soroptimist International is a worldwide organization for women working for human rights and women rights. The Nordic Soroptimist meeting in 2006 was held in Vaasa, Finland. There were guests from all the Nordic countries, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland of course. Also some guests from the Baltic countries and Germany visited this meeting.

The meeting was honoured by prominent speakers, as minister Elisabeth Rehn, forensic odontologist Helena Ranta and counsilor of state Riitta Uosukainen from Finland and Elsa Ballauri from Albania.
