Saariselka by night

Saariselka (Saariselkä in Finnish) is located in Lapland in the very northern part of Finland, some 50 kilometers south of Ivalo. Saariselka is a popular tourist center both in winter and in summer.

Saariselka offers high-standars services to tourists interested in skiing. The fascinating gold history of Saariselka is something many tourists are interested in.

Panimo means brewery, and here the own beer of Saariselka is made.

The "Petronella"-restaurant - by far the best restaurant in Saariselka with room for 200 guests. And please ask for the story of Petronella, a dutch girl who visited this part of Lapland some 60 years ago for a few months - and still living in the memories of local people.
