Long Live the Nissan N12!
The car is done! Whopee! After three years of blood, sweat and tears, it's finally back on the road!
The car is just about done! I had a slight thermostat malfunction so I had to replace it. I have a set of new winter tires. My winter rims are sand blasted and painted. I've also installed a couple of extra exhaust mounts to stop the exhaust from moving around too much. I haven't quite got the rear muffler stable yet, it still moves around quite a bit. Well, I can't fix everything in one day, I guess. Anyway, now I just need a new left headlight and get the wheels aligned. After that, MOT. And after that, it's back on the road!

The story of my car, a Nissan N12 Cherry, begins in 2002. I got my car from my father when he finally had to buy a new car. I got my driver's license in 2003. I actually have grown up with my car, my father had the car since 1987, I was 4 years old when he bought it. I'm emotionally very attached to my N12 Cherry, the car means everything to me.
When I discovered n12turbo.com for some years ago, I got a lot of inspiration to mod my ride, and i started dreaming about an E15ET engine (cherry turbo engine). When the n12turbo.com forums were started up, I started checking out the forums every day (!). After some time I registered as a forum member.
The N12Turbo Forum must be the only N12-related forum in the world, and from what I can tell, us Nissan N12 enthusiasts have a lot in common even though we come from different countries and cultures. Long live the Nissan N12!
I started modifying my car toward the Australian design of the Nissan N12, and just recently restored and resprayed the car since it started to have a lot of rustholes everywhere. I've also started gathering parts for converting my Cherry into a Cherry Turbo.
To make a long story short; this car and its history during my ownership can be found in my car log.
