Kennel Kilvan has been breeding Hungarian Pumik since 1973, and mudis in small scale since 2004. We imported a hamvas (ash) coloured mudi bitch  Szürkevillám Hamu Pipöke from Hungary in August 2003, and our first mudi litter was born in May 2004. So far we've imported 4 mudis (2 females, 2 males) from Hungary and had 4 litters.

Our goal is to breed healthy, typical mudis with good tempperaments. Our ideal mudi is true to the Original breed standard, and has lot of potential for working and sports.

4.5.2008 Puppies planned for Manó. Planned litter will be born after the mid of July, and available for new homes in end of September. Follow the puppy pages for more information.

7.4.2008 Paavo's (Kecskefogó Büszke) patella- and eye examination. Eyes are clear from HC, PRA and RD, and patellas are healthy, 0/0. Results will be published in the Finnish Kennel Club's database KoiraNet when Paavo's registration in FKC is compelete. Paavo's elbows and hips were also x-rayed already in end of March, they seemed good, but we're still waiting for the official results from FKC.

15.3.2008 Vili finished his FIN Ch. title in Tampere Int. Dog Show, judge Alain Pecoult, France. Vili was runner up male, and received his last CAC and res CACIB. Congratulations Satu and Vili!

23.-24.2.2007 Tuula and Huru entered agility competition in Haaparanda, Sweden. Saturday's result from agility course 5 penalty points and 3rd place and from jump course clean run and 2nd place. On Sunday another clean run from jump course and 2nd place, and from agility course clean run and first place, and ticket to the third class! Well done Tuula and Huru!

10.2.2008 Tuula and Huru (K.Hamvas Higany) got their first 0-result from MAXI-2 class, and placed 3rd. Congratulations!

27.1.2008 Paavo (Kecskefogo Büszke) and Sari entered their first unofficial agility trial in Riihimäki. Paavo won the medi-beginners class with clear result. Congratulations!

Same day Nikki (K. Pillango) entered her first dog show, and got Good. Judge was Tomas Rohlin, Denmark. "Needs lots of time, she's still a baby".

11.1.2008 Huru (K. Hamvas Higany) has been officially health examined. HD C/C, elbows 0/0, patellas 0/0. on Thank you Tuula!

Two years ago father of our H-litter Nyirsegfia Maci had two litters in Finland. Now from the 12 of his puppies living in Finland 8 have been health examined. Their hip results are 3xA, 3xB ja 2xC.

5.-6.1 Satu ja Vili korkkasivat agilityuransa Noormarkussa kahdella 0-tuloksella maksi-ykkösissä! A-kisassa vili oli 3./40 ja B-kisassa 4./39! Samoissa kisoissa pyörähtivät myös Vilin puoliveli Saunatytön Belmiro "Miro" ja Anne, Miro A-kisassa 1./40.

17.11.2007 in Jyväskylä INT, mudis were judged by Jaana Hartus. Paavo, Vili, Hertta, Manó and Pipõ were entered, but due to ongoing antibiotic medication Paavo was not shown. Vili's coat was not at it's best, and he got only Very Good and was 2nd best male.

Hertta got her 3rd CAC from Finland, and a Res-CACIB. Manó got Very Good, and Pipõ was the BOB-VET.

28.9.2007 Reko had his eye check done. Eyes are free from HC, PRA and RD. There were some persistent pupillar membranes visible.

23.9.2007 Huru got third clear run in the MAXI-1 class, and got the right to compete in the MAXI-2 class. Congratulations to handler/owner Tuula for taking Huru from 1st to 2nd class in just 6 weeks! In the same weekend Huru debuted in MAXI-2 class, and placed 2nd.

8.-9.9.2997 Huru competed in official Agility competitions in Tornio. Saturday Huru ran two runs, from first he got DQ, and from second run his result was 5.13 and he placed 2nd. On Sunday Huru got his second 0-result from the MAXI-1 class, and placed 1st! Huru also took part in unofficial District Championship team competition, and did another clean 0-run, his team was placed 5th! Big congrats to Tuula and Huru!

19.8.2007 Vili, Hertta, Paavo, Manó and Milli were entered to the annual Hungarian Herdingdog Club's Specialty Show. Total of 25 mudis took part, the judge was mrs. Marja Talvitie, FIN. Paavo got VG, and was 3rd in Junior class, Vili got VG and was 2nd in Intermediate class, Manó got G and Milli VG in open class, and Hertta was best junior bitch, best of breed and eventually Best in Show 3. Not bad for the 19-months old junior!

11.-12.8.2007 Huru (Kilvan Hamvas Higany) was in his first official agility competitions during the weekend. On saturday his first track went quite OK, with result 17.98 points, and a DQ from the jump track. Sunday went better, first agility track Huru got clear 0 track, and was placed 2nd, second track he got 5 points and placed 1st.
