Long time since last update... Recording of new demo is in the final straight. Our last EP Ancient was elected as demo of the month in finnish metal music magazine Inferno (#39). Also we are going to perform today at Töysä NS. Be there(if this reaches you soon enough)

31.7.2006:

The Lust I Seek is currently in studio recording new demo titled Withered ones.

22.4.2006:

We are sad to announce that our long time bass player Antti Ojala has left the band. Main reason was that he simply did not feel interest towards this kind of music anymore. There were no personal grudges or disagreements between him and the rest of the band, this was simply because he ran out of inspiration. We wish the best of luck for him.

19.4.2006:

Slight chance was too slight this time... So we aren't going to perform in Harjurock.

27.3.2006:

Record release gig went well. We videotaped some of the gig, check out the forum for further information. There is a slight change that The Lust I Seek is performing in Harju-Rock, Jalasjärvi (website) but nothing certain yet as our guitarist is out of country at that specific time. We'll see if we get someone to take his place on this gig. More information to come.

05.3.2006:

ANCIENT will be released at 24.3.2006. At the same date we have show at Hotelli Puustelli, alavus. Albums will be sold there. Hellcome, W.

26.1.2006:

The split with Funeral Planet is delayed once again. For what I know their recording systems went down and hence no recordings will take place for a while. However, we have decided to push the split further into the future and release EP containing songs originally meant for the split.

Ancient EP will be released as soon as we get all things set properly. More news will be coming forth on this. As for the split, we'll have to wait and see how and when will be it's time and what songs we will feature on that. Meanwhile, we wish all the best for Funeral Planet and hope they will get their systems fixed as soon as possible. Keep it up, W!

22.12.2005:

The recordings of the split is almost done from our part. The song titles for will be Carpathian Desire and Faces in the Mist, which is remade from Silent Light, the ending track of first release. For the Funeral Planet I have little information, but if memory serves well it might be that they hit the studio at the start of the next month. We will inform on this as soon as something's certain.

We are also looking for possible gig places and hope to get few cathes. Possible dates will be seen here, as well as in our official website (www.thelustiseek.cjb.net) which is also going to go through some facelift in the near future. Stay tuned and make sure to check our show if we arrive near you.
