Zabaione is a small cattery located in Mustasaari, right outside the city Vaasa on the Finnish west coast.

At the moment we have 5 maine coon cats living with us in our home. One male, two females and two neuters. My breeding started in 1995, when IP/IC Huvikummun Maine Garamond, Gara, arrived to our home from Pälkäne. Our breeding name Zabaione was registered in FIFE in 1996.

Our cats ::

  EP/EC Escape’s Albizzia Bianco "Tuppi"  became European Premior  6.3.2005. On the same day she got her retirement. Tuppi is black and mother to litters B and C. Tuppi is the oldest cat in the cattery and the lady that knows her value. J

The BIG boy from Tuppi’s B litter is GIP/IC Zabaione Buffalo Bill, also known as “Billy”. He is also enjoying his lazy days as a happy neuter. Billy is a brown tabby and he has the most amazing temperament. He loves kittens, all people and of course he loves attention and being cuddled.

Raitakatin Finduilas, also known as ” Fiia” is a brown tortie tabby. She is a bright girl who loves to play. She purres to everyone almost anytime. Fiia has a great Maine coon look with her big tufted ears. She is very well sized for her age. She has a beautiful rectangular muzzle and a gorgeous silky coat.

Fiia started her show career in the greatest way when she on her first show weekend was chosen as the Best kitten in her category!

Kasmasiinin Primadonna or  ”Donna ” moved to our home in the summer 2005 bringing the beautiful silver color and the white spot that I’ve been longing for for a long time! Donna, who is a silver tortie tabby with white, has a genetic predisposition to solid colours and dilution.

Donna is a playful, courious girl who finds her own toys here and there, and of course she gets the other cats to join her in her play. J Donna has big tufted ears that are set high. Her loving puffs are very intensive, she puffs, purres and loves to lie on your knee. Donna has a long body and a loooooong tail.

The breeding male in our cattery "Kvintti" IC LYNXELOT QUINT of Zabaione,   came to us  from UK, after long consideration, on easter 2003. Kvintti is a crème tabby.

Kvintti has a super temper, a long body, long muscular legs, a rectangular and middle-length muzzle. His ears are big and tufted.

Kvintti is the father of three gorgeus litters. The kittens have started their careers in a very nice way. One of his boys, Escape’s Poker Face who lives in Poland in Wiki Black cattery, has already become Junior Winner!!!

We hope that we will have small fluffy kittens in the cattery in the spring 2006 J

Many successful cats have come from Zabaione cattery. We were rewarded as being the best breeder 2002 by the Finnish Maine coon association and by Pohkis, the cat association in Ostrobothnia. :o)
